This week's Tuesdays with Dorie is Chocolate Crunched Caramel Tart chosen by Carla of Chocolate Moosey. With Gabby being allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, I chose to leave out the peanuts so she could have some. And because I left them out, she chose not to eat any. ARGH!
For some reason, my crust completely stuck to the foil protecting it on two of the mini tarts. I managed to pull it off and then finished the baking. The caramel kind of held the broken up bottom together. It wasn't the prettiest tart, but it still tasted good! These tarts were really really good. I think they would be great with any kind of nut added. I will probably make these again!
